The weekly events in Saalbach Hinterglemm are unforgettable ventures in nature while hiking and partaking in sporty Nordic Walking tours, which offer a wide-ranging leisure programme. Four cable cars transport the hotel gueststo the starting points of various signposted hiking paths free of charge.
The stunning panorama from Hohe Tauern to Leogang Steinberge accompanies hikers step by step through Glemmtal mountain world. Where skiers and boarders are at home during the winter season hikers along with alpine enthusiasts of Nordic Walkers are at home during Autumn. We invite you to explore the 450 kilometres of signposted hiking trails.
Traditional and tasty
When the big summer’s heat moderately decreases the views of the mountains around the Kristiana Hotel become especially impressive. You can enjoy a hearty snack at one of the 30 alpine huts, while embracing the view of the mountains –that are at least 3,000m high.
An absolute must: The farmers’ autumn
From late August to late October Salzburgerland celebrates the farmers’ autumn. During this time Saalbach Hinterglemm presents various colourful cultural landscapes with traditions of the regional farmers.
Experience traditional culture and the farmers’ everyday life at the farmers’ markets and autumn festivals. These feature music bands, “Weisenbläser” and groups wearing traditional costumes.
